Tournament chess pieces set up on a chessboard on an oak table

Stable, easy-to-read tournament pieces

The stability and clarity clubs look for: 32 large heavy plastic pieces, black and cream, well designed, on a felted base that glides silently. Three styles are available, shown in the photos.

For kitting out a club or a school, or replacing the pieces of a lost set. They suit beginners and experienced players alike, ages 14 and up, and go well with a roll-up tournament board. The manufacturer does not state the king height.

Compare with our other Staunton chess pieces and our roll-up boards.

Care

If needed, wash the pieces in warm soapy water, then dry them before putting them away. Keep them away from heat sources, which can warp the plastic. If the felts wear out, self-adhesive pads are easy to replace.
